Another nice day was forecasted and in my quest for the HB9SOTA award I activated both available mountains in Canton Zug (HB/ZG-001, HB/ZH-002) and my 2nd summit in Canton Schwyz HB/SZ-031.

- From the car park at Unteralpli to Wildspitz.

- I drove via Unterägeri and the road between Schönalphüttli (853m) and Unteralpli is a private road and closed on Sundays and public holidays. Otherwise you have to park here or take a different route as described on http://www.zugeralpli.ch.

- The sign next to the restaurant Alpli tells 1h 5′ for Wildspitz.

- View from Alplihorn early in the morning.

- Most of the path is built with stairs. It definitely helps after a rainy day 🙂

- I was the first person to arrive at the summit.

- Watch your step just behind my shack. It drops 300 – 400m.

- Wildspitz was just above the sea of fog and I could see the mountain range towards South while working 3 SOTA chasers from VK.
