For the majority of our V/U/SHF contests we are taking part as HB9AJ from a hilltop called Matzendörfer Stierenberg in JN37SH. Already in September I had plans to activate the nearest SOTA hills but with rain all weekend I postponed my activation to October. Saturday, 6 October 2012 was sunny and I ventured out to HB/SO-008 and -009.
